Major Refurbishment Complete in December 2019

William Cape Gardens completes a major refurbishment in December 2019.

With William Cape Gardens celebrating its 10th birthday last year, we felt it was time to give the residence a bit of a refresh. The works were quite extensive, aimed at lightening the residence and creating more open space for residents to enjoy.

The project included re-painting the whole residence a lighter hue of white, installing carpet in most areas, refurbished wardrobes, new window curtains, new bathroom vanities and shaving cupboards and changing the ceiling lights. We have also upgraded our beds to king singles with new bed footers, bedheads, bedside tables and visitor chairs.

Our lounge and dining areas have received a major makeover with new furniture, serveries and a music system. The Café and Reception area have undergone some big changes to open up the space to be more welcoming and with more on offer in the Café. The gardens have also had a makeover.

Our residents are very excited with their new look home!
