Our residence is a hive of activity with daily exercises, cards and other games, arts and crafts, in-house concerts and seminars, bus outings, shopping, dancing, choir, men’s groups, laughter therapy and dog therapy to name a few.
Our more specialised programs support the wellbeing of residents living with dementia or other specialised needs. Programs such as sensory gardens, music therapy sessions, personalised music playlists and our creative mates volunteer program. Each program is designed to increase connection, creativity, expression, identity, joy and belonging.
Our Community Outreach Program brings the community in to engage with our residents. We have a community charity program which allows residents to give back to the community. Our Inter-generational program connects residents to different generations such as pre-schools and schools to increase wellbeing, creativity and their sense of purpose. Our programs involving family and friends invite them to share in creative activities, to increase connection through shared experiences.
William Cape Gardens provides services for physiotherapy, podiatry and visiting medical staff to all residents.
