William Cape Gardens’ Sizzling Second Birthday
Local residents, families and staff attended the William Cape Gardens second anniversary celebrations this week. William Cape Gardens, the Residential Aged Care facility in Kanwal, celebrated its anniversary this week with a Family FunDay. William Cape Gardens opened its doors in September 2007 and is now home to over 100 Central Coast residents. On Sunday around 200 families and friends of residents and staff celebrated with a sausage sizzle, fun packed karaoke show, clowns and face painting for the children. The activities were thoroughly enjoyed by residents and the 2nd birthday cake was cut by William Cape Garden’s first resident Gwen Dell and first staff member Cheryl Wright, Administration and Client Services Manager.
Kerry Mann, Group Executive Manager acknowledged the hard work dedication and support of the staff of William Cape Gardens and said “We are very excited to be celebrating our second anniversary this week. We pride ourselves on providing premier care to residents of Wyong and look forward to continuing our important role in the community”.
